London Paramount Teal Energy Statement
The London Paramount Entertainment Resort has taken an important step forward following the withdrawal of Teal Energy's proposal for a waste to energy scheme on a key site needed for the Resort. Teal Energy's application was due to be considered at a public inquiry which is now cancelled. The parties have reached an important agreement for both projects and Teal Energy will now seek an alternative site.
Paul Sadler, Chief Executive of Teal Energy stated: "The Swanscombe Peninsula will be transformed as a result of London Paramount and the Ebbsfleet Garden City. Teal Energy is keen to find an alternative site in North Kent."
This gives added impetus to the London Paramount Entertainment Resort proposals following the recent purchase of Bamber Pit and Essenden Sports Ground.
David Testa, Chief Executive of London Paramount said: "We're delighted to have reached an agreement with Teal - without doubt this is another important step in the right direction for the future of the project.”
