Over 3000 attend latest stage of public consultation on London Paramount Entertainment Resort
Over 3,000 people attended public consultation events on London Paramount Entertainment Resort in Dartford and Gravesham during April and May. At this latest stage of consultation a scaled model and exciting new visuals were revealed showing the vision for the resort and the themed zones that will likely feature at the world class attraction in north Kent.
Fenlon Dunphy, on behalf of London Paramount, said:
“It is hugely encouraging that so many people have taken the time to attend our latest stage of public consultation and continue to provide such positive feedback on our proposals for London Paramount Entertainment Resort. We are carefully considering all feedback provided with the intention to feed this into the proposals we submit to the Secretary of State”.
The London Paramount tour across north Kent saw 46 hours of public consultation take place in village halls, leisure centres, council offices and Bluewater. Attendees were invited to complete a feedback form sharing their views on the draft masterplan, the proposed transport options and the project’s approach to education and jobs before the plans are submitted to the Secretary of State later this year.
To date, 661 feedback forms have been completed during this stage of consultation with interim results showing that:
- 84% of respondents approve of the draft masterplan for the Entertainment Resort
- 83% of respondents approve of the project’s approach to walking, cycling and making use of the River Thames
- 78% of respondents approve of the mitigation strategies proposed to protect and enhance the environment
Responses to the consultation are invited until Friday 5 June 2015 and can be made via the London Paramount website or by requesting a hard copy of the feedback form by contacting the London Paramount consultation team on 0800 008 6765 or emailing firstname.lastname@example.org. All project information is available to view online (at www.londonparamount.info) and in depository locations across Dartford, Gravesham and neighbouring local authorities. A full report detailing the feedback will be published on the project website (www.londonparamount.info) following the Friday 5 June 2015 deadline for feedback.
